               McGUFFIN, John W. Cpl., son of Mr. and Mrs. M.P. McGuffin, husband of the former

               Nell Carroll. Entered Army in 1943. Trained at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. Has

               Good Conduct medal and other honors. Now on duty in Washington.

       Valton Herman McGuffin                         b. 1923  d.1984

               McGUFFIN, Valton H. Pfc., Son of Mr. and Mrs. M. P. McGuffin, entered the Army

               in 1942. Trained at Macain, Miss.  Served in Holland, and France. Has Purple

               Heart, ETO Combat Ribbon with battle stars and other honors. Wounded in Action

               1944. Now on duty in Harmon Hospital, Longview, TX.
